I purchased this for my craft/art room. I haven't actually used it yet however it arrived and needed no assembly. It is sturdy and rotates freely. It is not elevated. I was looking for something very affordable and this was the one that I opted for. It looks as though it will suit my needs completely.

Very sturdy. I used it under a five foot artificial tree to make it easier to decorate.

I purchased this 8" lazy susan so I could place my laptop on it and easily turn the laptop when I go from my dining room area to my kitchen. I was concerned that the lazy susan's plastic, textured top might not create enough friction to prevent my laptop from sliding when pushed, but to my pleasant surprise, it was up to the task and works well. I have not had any issues with the laptop sliding off the lazy susan when I push it, but I'm careful to push it gently.While I'd prefer the top was made of rubber, this lazy susan has worked out well for me! I've owned it for about a month already.

Using for my CPAP on the shelf of the bed headboard. Swivels to make it easy for me to turn it to add the water.

I bought this because I have a fan I want to aim at different places in the room. The fan itself has slats that will aim the breeze a bit, but not like I need. So, I bought this to put the 4' high fan on so I can easily adjust it instead of picking it up each time. It works great! I was worried about it working on carpet, but I shouldn't have been worried. =)
