Works great so far. We shall see how long it lasts on my boat in Salt water

It's a decent device. From how it functions it seems to have a microcontroller and servomotor inside. It's not a dumb analog unit, I hope it will last. Two issues I found: 1) The main connector is one time use, it clicks when you plug it in but the clip is hidden inside the protruded socket. You can't disconnect it after that. 2) The mount ring is pretty loose and doesn't hold the unit if you try to tighten it properly. I used some the plumber's tape to fill the void.

Stay away from this fuel gauge, I purchased it, try to install it, spent three hours working on it, it would not calibrate, the instructions are written in Chinese English, and there is no online support, I returned the item.

Gage appears to be well made. When powered up, needle swings from "E" to "F", then to where reading should be. That repeats precisely with every power up.Reading increments in steps (not continuous) when fuel level changes. Step changes are inherent with reed switch senders.

I wired it as instructed, asked for help. Help didn't work. Brought boat to dealership, they could not get it to work. They installed another brand and problem solved. Nice looking gas gauge , can I return it? Real scam ,oh you are 5 days pass deadline to return it. How nice is that after asking for help 3-4 times.
