Q: Where is this made & where are components sourced; I wouldn't trust anything for life saving Made in China would you?

They're assembled in the US but do you think EMS or hospital staff only use American made equipment when providing lifesaving interventions?

Yes, this is an actual and authentic Life Vac brand.

Q: Would it work as a wound vac?

No. I would not count on it! You are better off with a JP drain or something of that sort that is specifically made for wound drainage issues.

Q: Is the travel pack device the same size as the regular (non portable) device?

The regular one comes with three masks and no bag: trial, adult, and child. Trial and adult are identical. Travel pack comes with two masks and one travel bag: adult and child.
