Does this come with Velcro ? I purchased one and doesn’t have any ?

It should already have the Velcro on the pieces and the edge of the band so it’s usable. It doesn’t come with extra Velcro

If my hips are 48 inches will this fit?

Yes it should. I am 36-38 since becoming pregnant and it fits great

Does it have metal in it ??

No metal. It holds together with big velcro and little velcro. Worth it.

Can you sit comfortably with this on? I hate sitting in my other belt, so I rarely use it because it's annoying to take on and off constantly.

I never had any problem with comfort while sitting. It's a very soft material
