Q: Are the stones real, as far as is the topaz really topaz?

I gave it as a gift but when I inspected before wrapping the stones appear real. They are not finished stones but are rough stones. They appear to be real rough stones. If you are in doubt, take it to a lapidary or jeweler for verification.
