The tape measure was a little flimsy, the metal buckle fell off on one side and the other one is really loose. However, I bought this for the scissors and had no trouble on the plane. The scissors are alright to cut with but it is hard to get it open.

I own several pairs of these scissors and somehow, after my last move, I have misplaced every one. I can’t be without them so I’m back for another pair. I’ve used these for everything. My knitting and crochet supply/project bags. In my ballet bag. Even in my regular kit for sewing my pointe shoes. I have them in my desk, travel toiletries bag, and more. Yes, it’s insane I’ve misplaced so many pairs. But until I find them I needed another pair and these are so darn good it was worth the spend. I never have issues folding and unfolding them. Some of my oldest pairs are around a decade old, and they still function like brand new. Once open they’re like any other scissors and they stay sharp! Doesn’t matter if I’m scoring the sole of a leather pointe shoe or cutting through silk needlepoint threads. They do the job.I love that they have a little hole so you can add a charm or attach them to a lanyard. I didn’t need this little kit and as someone that’s been sewing since childhood I have better supplies on hand already. Still, it’s nice if you need these in a pinch. Even if you don’t, the box is really practical. I love small boxes like this for my project bags. I can never get enough. So this kit is just a phenomenal value. I’ll probably buy a second.

I have not used it yet, as it is in my emergency bag, but the contents look exactly what you would need. good little carrying case too. Great for cost.
