Q: What size is the cooking area in inches

The pan is 10” with a 2” lip all around therefore the cooking surface is 6”. Hope this helps!

Q: what are the heat tolerances

Hi, I am not 100% positive on the temperature in degrees, but I know that with this type of pan you should never never goes past medium heat on your' stove top.

Q: I’m just wondering why would anyone sell pans with out lids!? The lid is a vital part of cooking.

A lot of pans are sold without lids. While this may not have a lid it is a great cooking pan for eggs and smaller items. I make grilled cheese for my son in it all the time and it works great.

Q: Are the pans made in China?

I don’t think so. I just looked at mine. They say Austria. They are nice pans.
