Do the strawberries fade as you wash it?

Hasn't yet...been in dw at least 6x's

does this break with hot drinks?

I've steeped small bits of teas, and poured hot syrup in mine and it's been fine, but I'd recommend getting the tea cup/ mug version if you want to use it for hot drinks as it doesn't have a handle
