A good tool at a good price
For the price, this is a very good product. I’ve used it a lot and it stood up to everything. The only downside is that I almost always banged my head on it if I was working in or around it. On the upside, it’s made from very rigid unforgiving steel.

Works for what we needed.
Very easy to set up and use. I never did drywall before but due to a leak in the roof we had to replace the ceiling. We tried to hold it up on our own but quickly came online to find a better way. unit is very easy to set up. easy to get around the room. was able to lift the 12 ft sheets we had. made the job go quicker with less people. If you are going to DIY this is something you should try

Did what it was supposed to do, no bells or whistles.
I ordered this to replace the ceilings in a couple of rooms in my house. After comparing the price of this unit to renting, I decided to own it and not deal with driving to town and having to deal with a rental. It was pretty easy to assemble, the upright was a little confusing, seemed to slant until I noticed there was a retaining piece I wasn't getting the upright into correctly. The wings are the only issue, they slide in and are just held with gravity. I needed to flip one piece of drywall around to get it up against a wall and when I brought the elevator back down the arm fell out and hit me in the head. For the price and the fact I'll probably only use it a few times it was worth it, just be aware of the parts and they just slide together and may fall out if rotated certain ways. I finished one ceiling, it will be a while before I need it again, but I'll just store it and keep in handy for other projects. Overall, it did what it needed to do, it was a little awkward to work with, but it was better than trying to get people to hold the panels up while screwing the sheets down. I was using 4 x 8 sheets, the edge dipped pretty far before getting them up to the ceiling, not sure if this could do a 4 x 12 sheet, it would probably work but it would be wobbly at best. Overall, I was able to complete the project and it served it's purpose.

Affordable and Versatile
You can use this so much more than just holding up drywall. If you add a flat surface on top (drywall or wood) you can have it hold your tools when you are on top of the ladder. It can also be used to help support ceiling beams.Yes, it does support a sheet of drywall. For those who are complaining that it is not safe, there is a reason why this is cheap, and all the models sold on Amazon are the same.

This item is garbage. I want my money back.
As I was assembling, this looked good and felt good. But before I even had the first sheet put on it (no load yet!) a weld on the legs broke. I imagine the other one will break very soon as well. The weld was pathetic! This company should hang their heads in shame for selling such a poorly made product. Where is the quality control? An inexpensive product is worthless if it is going to break right out of the box.I need this thing today, so I will be fashioning a fix over the next couple of hours rather than returning it. The company should give me my money back along with a note apologizing and promising to do better. And Amazon should exert some oversight over these companies that have made them so successful. Come on Amazon, if the products are worthless, get them off your site.

Good deal, Highly recommend, paid for itself after 1 job
This was perfect for what I needed. Knocked out the ceilings in no time. People say it's junk, it's not. It works fantastic. Perfect tool for the occasional homeowner jobs for the price. If I was a contractor I would still use this tool for the price. I'm all finished using it now passing it on to kids and friends for their drywall jobs. Cheaper to own than renting for 2 days.

Lower quality, but functional
Vevor claims “ Tough tools & half price”. I would say half price & half the quality. This is not necessarily a terrible thing depending on the product. This drywall lift got the job done, but is definitely a little janky. The assembly instructions were a joke, terrible pictures and no written instructions. Fortunately, the assembly was pretty simple, as well as operating the lift. The lower quality is evident when using, a little tricky to maneuver the drywall at ceiling height, and seemed a bit unsafe. I rocked a 1750 square foot 10’ ceiling with 4 x 10 x 5/8” sheets. It was a good purchase for this job, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you plan to use it daily, long term.

Helped me get the job done!
This product was a lifesaver. I am an average DIY person and I had no problems with this lift. I couldn’t have done the ceiling without it. It is adjustable and mobile. You learn as you go along and you get what you pay off. The benefit to me was buying an inexpensive hoist over renting one from Home Depot. Therefore, saving me money and allowing me to take my time and use as needed. I used it for lifting 4x8 pieces of Sheetrock or small.
