I purchased these almost a year ago, I believe. I still have the packaging and it does say made in China. I can't wear socks that don't up to only my calf. I get serious cramps. these go up to my knee and are very comfortable. The textile manufacturers are mostly outside the USA. I like buying Carhartt because they are mostly made in North America. During the pandemic it was hard to find their socks. These are good quality socks. As I am answering this for you, they are 9% off. It was hard to find socks of this length. Another Amazon person answered my question with details that influenced me to buy them. I'm a happy camper with these socks and my legs are not swelling up1
