How much space is left under the tray when it is fully installed?

I don’t recall the depth of the tray but there’s plenty of room left underneath. I was especially pleased with the fit and the ability to organize small items in the console. Especially coins!!

I suppose you could glue a plastic handle on the tray but quite frankly that is not necessary IMHO. I grab the tray with 2 fingers in holes present over the USB “C” inputs and lift it out there without a problem and it is done easily and quickly.
