Serine is found as both l-serine and d-serine in the brain, and the equilibrium is maintained by an enzyme present in the brain known as serine racemase (SR) which racemizes (converts) l-serine into d-serine. Some studies ssuggested that d-serine is more effective at this when the practice exposure to what you fear ends on a positive note as opposed to a negative one. A a single capsule makes me sleep deeply with absolutely no grogginess the next morning. I have meaningful and enjoyable dreams. This is very simply the most effective sleep aid I have ever tried. Back ordered because of what I suppose must be high demand.

I plan to send off a couple of capsules to a lab to see what they contain. D-Serine is hard to find except as a powder which is hard to work with, so I'm glad I found this.
