I recently purchased this stone mortar and pestle set primarily for grinding spices, and I've had a mixed experience with it. On the positive side, the design and weight of the set are commendable. Mom's favourite!
My mom stumbled upon this khalbatta on Amazon and couldn't resist buying it. She uses it to grind spices, coriander and stuff to make yummy chutneys! It is super useful and an absolute essential in every Indian household.

Wonderful product
Nicely designed product. Handy size. Only thing is that in the product specification it was mentioned that its only 500 grams, the actual product weighs 1.8 kgms. Other dimensions are the same
