The perfect curling iron for big curls and body.
Obsessed with this curling iron. It isn’t expensive and not super fancy, but it provides the perfect curl for my hard to curl hair. Curls that last! It’s good quality, durable for me to carry around, and super easy to change the temp. I like how well made it is!

Hands down the best curling iron I've ever used!
I've had this same brand/model curling iron for about 10 years now & LOVE everything about it. It finally died on me a few days ago, only because I've been pretty careless with its cord when I travel/store it, and because I have used it pretty often throughout its life span (honestly, I wasn't expecting it to last as long as it has!). It is such a great product that I HAD to get another, so I was really excited to see that amazon still sells this model (the ones sold in stores do not have the +/- heat buttons anymore, which I prefer a lot more as opposed to the dial that the new ones have).I have given other curling iron brands and sizes a try but this is honestly still the best one I've used. It's super easy to use, my hair never gets stuck in it, it swivels so it's easy to curl without having the cord get in the way, the curls last me all day--I never use hairspray (unless I want my curls super tight all day), it is the perfect size & is versatile when it comes to different styling techniques: tight curls, looser curls, waves, layer styling etc. I get compliments on my hair every time I use it!!Another bonus is that the plates are ceramic so it's super smooth & allows the hair to glide in & out without it getting stuck, allows for even heat coverage, helps minimize frizz & add more of a shine to your curl (which is my favorite part about this curler) & is overall a little less damaging to your hair than other/cheaper metals that other curling irons are made of.**For the reviews that say...1) ..the buttons get in the way: it just depends on how you hold it. It's never been an issue for me & has probably only happened a handful of times throughout the 10 year span of using it.2) .. the curls don't hold/last: every hair type is different so in some cases you would have to either:a) hold the curl a few seconds longer before letting gob) turn up the heat settingc) wait for 2nd day hair (the hair is easier to style when it's not "freshly washed")d) consider using a styling cream before &/or a hairspray aftere) you need to switch up the way you USE/HOLD the iron. Trust me, this one is usually the problem. I've had friends borrow my curling iron & have had that same problem of their hair not curling/holding the curl, until I showed them how I use it. (YouTube tutorials are your best friend!)$15 for a great quality curling iron that will last you a very long time is definitely a steal in my opinion.

Great Product but PLEASE be careful - it can burn hair easily and you won't know until later
I used the product right out of the box because I was very excited after having read all the positive reviews. My hair is very thick so I used it on the highest level. It worked very fast but my hair got so hot that I burned my finger only from touching my hair. I put in on a medium heat level and still it was extremely hot.I was finished with my thick and long hair in about 20 min, which is very fast in comparison to other products!A couple hours later I went to bed and realized a bad smell, I couldn't tell what it was first. After inspecting the pillows and everything around my bed, I realized that it was my hair. It was burned, I've never smelled anything like this. I almost broke my heart, I spend so much time taking care of my hair, I try to eat healthy, take vitamins and biotin, I don't wash it too often, I don't dye it and have been able to maintain healthy hair... And then in one night I go ahead and burn it with a curling iron :(((The next day I was scared to look but it wasn't as bad as I thought, the damage was at least not visible.I mixed my shampoo with baking soda and got rid of the nasty smell. I did some research on heat protector products and ended up buying a Tresemme Heat Protector, it was recommended by Instyle and had great reviews on Amazon.Do yourself a favor, when ordering ANY curling iron, start on a low heat level. NEVER forget to use a heat protector spray. While you hold the curling iron in your hair, keep on touching your hair that is spun around the iron with your finger tips, when its hot, take it right out. be careful not to touch the iron, stay focused. To make the curls last, spay some hairspay on each curl after taking the curling iron out and pin them to your head with a bobby pin or any other pin will do, too. Once you are finished with the entire head take the pins put and spray the entire head with hairspray. If you prefer the natural look like me brush the curls out with you fingers (not with a brush, the curls might come out).Whatever you do, don't burn your hair!!I have long hair and use the 1 inch barrel, it works for me. Also I didn't have any problems with the position of the buttons unlike other reviewers.

Fine and basic but will be returning
This is a basic, functioning, curling iron. I will be returning it because while somewhere in the description it stated it had 5 heat settings, in reality it has two - high and low. Low was not hot enough to hold the curl for my hair, and high was simply too high. It is very lightweight which is great on the one hand but also made it feel cheap on the other. I liked Feb barrel length - longer than a previous version I’ve owned for years. My other hesitation is that with my old model, the screws on the barrel often caught and tangled my hair. This current model had the same design. Not sure why more irons can’t avoid this problem.
