size is important
does not hold a full loaf of bread.....isn't that the idea as it is called a BREADBOX

Mid Quality for Mid Price
Very thin wood, flimsy plastic window (another review talked about fear of breaking glass, smh). A little wonky as far as the alignment of the door to the sides. But in the corner from a distance it looks fine, saves counter space and holds a decent amount of bread. The pieces didn't align perfectly so the door doesn't like to shut on its own. When the magnet is snug it stays up, but I have come in the kitchen to find the door open twice now. I am hoping a little sand paper will fix that. The screws are confusing, but I figured it out. In the instructions it shows 4 different length screws and a count for each. It appears at first that there are only three types of screw and the numbers all seem off, but I realized...two of the screws have different heads but otherwise appear identical. And once I sorted that out, I also realized that they give you one extra of each type. Then the numbers make sense.I built it on my lap on the couch. It did take some coordination to keep all the parts in their grooves while attaching the top but I did not need a helper.Only real upset was while screwing in the LAST screw to secure the metal strip for the door, the head broke off. So I had to MacGyver the latch.I wish it fit together better and I hadn't had bad luck with the screw, but it wasn't expensive for what I got.

Nice But Needs Tweaking
It looks simple to put together, but the directions need to be better. They should have each part marked with removable arrows with left and right as well as front and back.Once I got everything screwed together, it was time to put the front knob and magnetic plate onto the front door…1. Thank goodness they give 2 knobs with 2 screws. One knob wouldn’t ever tighten. The other one did.2. The very last step was almost a total failure for the entire product. One screw broke off trying to screw on the metal plate, and then the magnetic strip is set too far back that comes fixed to the top. Alien Tape to the rescue. ( didn’t use the screws, one is broken off.) I built the plate out to hit the magnetic strip. It works!!! We have it in the corner where we wanted it, and it looks very nice.Hope the seller reads this for future customers. Maybe put them together and ship.
