Why can these containers not be shipped to Alaska?

I am not sure why not, you may need to email Amazon or the manufacturer to get an answer.

Are the containers crystal clear like advertised? Or are they hazy, cloudy, milky?

They are clear like advertised, so it's super easy to see what is inside. Plus, the vinyl "chalk board" labels are very durable, & the liquid chalk marker doesn't smear like regular chalk would, so what you write stays put until you decide to wipe off & rewrite. Enjoy : )

Are these containers good for freezer and refrigerator? I know some plastics crack in freezer!

I don’t think these containers are meant to be used in the fridge or freezer. I specifically bought them for the storage/organization of my pantry items.
