Shoyeido's White River Incense, 20 Sticks - Shirikawa by SHOYEIDO

I have been using their Plum Blossom scent for a while, and it is a great favorite of mine. Upon reading the reviews for this one, I decided to give it a try, and am so glad I did. It has a very sweet, flowery scent, but is not overly powerful like so many lesser brand scents can be. This is a scent I will be purchasing repeatedly as well...it's really fantastic!

I adore Shoyeido and have been buying incense from them since 1994. This particular incense is such a beautiful, long lasting white musk scent - my husband loves incense, too but got home one day and remarked how amazing this one was. I love how little smoke comes from their incense since I am quite sensitive. You just cannot beat the quality. This is now among my old favorites.

I love Shoyeido incense. White River would not disappoint...if it arrived in good order. It was shipped in a soft padded envelope and the package was crushed. Sooooooo disappointing! Plus, there was no way to report the poor shipping results. If you're ordering, I recommend including it with some larger items that'll require and actual box to ship and insist on having your incense in that box. There's no sense in ordering if it's gonna show up crushed due to poor packaging by Amazon.

The scent is what I know from the coils, however these sticks are too small. I like the coils much better.

Scent is great! I love rivers path and this is very close but slightly lighter. Definitely my second favourite. Each stick burns about 10-12 minutes.
