Q: I have a 2008 EZGO. How can I tell if this controller will work? It does not say PDS TXT anywhere on it.

We have a 2007 EZGO and it worked perfectly. If you have the box under the seat with the toggle switch for run or charge, you will have no problem. We went from about 13 to 19 miles an hour.

Q: Why don't you have chips for 48 volt carts?

48 Volt carts would not have the PDS drive system, so this chip would not apply.

Q: I did not get any instructions ,, how do I install it ?

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR FREEDOM, STEEP HILL AND MILD HILL.1. Turn key to the "OFF" position and remove it from the switch. Make sure the parking brake is set.2. To access Personality plug (3) raise and remove the seat bottom from car.3. Turn RUN / TOW-MAINTENANCE switch to "TOW-MAINTENANCE" on PDS. Remove the negative cable from the firstbattery.4. Remove Cover (1) from Heatsink by removing bolts (2) . Retain for installation later.5. Locate the old plug (3) if present, remove and discard it. Install the new personality plug (3) as per the vehicle type mentionedabove in note.6. Installation is in reverse order of removal. Secure bolts (2) to 35 - 40 In. lbs ( 3.9 - 4.5 Nm ).7. Re-install the battery cable and toggle back RUN / TOW-MAINTENANCE switch to "RUN" on PDS. Re-install the seatbottomto vehicle.

Q: i have a 1994 Club Cart, will it work on this?

No, I am sorry this will not work on your cart...It is for the EZGO TXT PDS 2000 and up golf carts only as listed.
