nachdem in den letzten drei Monaten (und auch früher schon immer mal wieder) zwei fast neue Schirme durch Windböen geschrottet wurden, habe ich mich nun für den Blunt entschieden. Er macht einfach einen wesentlich stabileren Eindruck und die ganze Mechanik und die Streben sind nicht so'n Blechspielzeug wie bei den meisten anderen Schirmen, ist dafür aber eben auch schwerer!Er kam rechtzeitig zu den Sturmausläufern, so dass ich ihn gleich auf Herz und Nieren testen konnte, und er hält, was er verspricht (ob es nun 115km/h waren, kann ich nicht sagen), echt windfest, er hat auch bei anständigen Böen keine Meine verzogen! Meine Empfehlung für Leute, die das so auch gerne wollen.

I'm soaked and extremely pissed.I now own the 54" Blunt stick umbrella for 5 months and have been using it in mild weather ( rainy but not windy). Everything seemed fine, the umbrella was big and sturdy.But when I needed the Umbrella the MOST ( now in September ) it broke in the VERY FIRST WIND GUST.The umbrella is not capable of bending backward and 2 of the 6 Supportbeams just snapped.This was probably the 3rd or 4th time i ever used this umbrella and now this !If both this 100$ umbrella and a 30 $ umbrella break in windy rain then what's the point?I was thinking of 2 Stars, but they say '' it's built for life'' so 1 star it is.

This a very hefty umbrella, very much suitable for sharing with someone. Absolutely massive, preformed pretty well until the snowstorms hit.

The umbrella is very well made with a heavy canopy and strong ribs. The opening and closing action is very positive and feels like it will last. I have been thinking about purchasing a Blunt umbrella for a while and I'm glad I did, highly recommended.
