Another game changer for the Whippets
I purchased the older Casifor Nail grinder without the LED at beginning of the year and called it a game changer for me and my three whippets. My five star review for it is still up for that product. Two of my dogs hate having their nails trimmed. I do this task every two weeks and it's been a struggle until I got the original Casifor trimmer. Previous to this I tried using a Dremel tool which worked a bit better than clippers but one dog was always in a panic with the noise and the sandpaper attachment used. All this disappeared with the first unit which I loved. Then I found out they had a newer version with two LEDs and that makes the product even better! The LEDs provide lots of light making it ever easer to see where and when to stop grinding the nails. Otherwise the unit appears to be the same in terms of variable speeds and noise lever which is very low compared to the Dremel. I can do all three dogs over the course of several weeks without worrying about the battery, it lasts a long time and the unit charges quickly. I think the Diamond Grinder Head is far superior to the sandpaper on the Dremel. This is just a major game changer for us having to deal with this task, and you can't beat the price. In fact, the newer unit with LED is about the same price I paid for the original. Seems well made, but I love that it is lightweight, variable speed and doesn't make very much noise compared to the Dremel. The lights are the icing on the cake for us. We highly recommend either product but why not just go for the newer unit with LED; it makes the process that much easier!I may keep the original or give it away as a gift to a friend who also struggles with nail trimming and don't have any issues paying for a newer, updated unit with the LEDs. The product is a great value and makes our bi-monthly nail trimming fast and easy.

Silencioso y cómodo de utilizar
Lo mejor es que tiene repuestos del cabezal de lijado. Otros dispositivos no lo tienen. La batería dura bastante, la velocidad de lijado para un perro mediano es adecuada.

Better tolerated by dog
I used to clip my dog's nails, but I was always too scared to cut much off in case I caught the quick, so I switched to a nail grinder. The nail grinder I initially got was powerful and noisy, and though my dog tolerated it initially, he became increasingly uncomfortable with it, despite me never getting anywhere near his quick and introducing it to him gradually with lots of treats. The battery had been temperamental since soon after I got it, and then it died altogether. In the meantime, I went to using a hand file, which took forever, so I was looking for another grinder and decided on this one because it was quieter and less powerful than the others. So far, my dog has been tolerating it very well. I have it on the very lowest setting, so it does take a while, but it is much faster than a manual file, and I don't mind so long as my dog tolerates it. If you press too hard, the wheel will stop rotating. I'm sure I'd have less issue with this if I used it on a higher setting. So far, the battery has worked fine.

Will it do the job.
Product was excellent. Very quiet worked well on the claws of our springer. No trauma to the dog.
