Well, I listened to those who claimed it was just like sugar and honey, they must have a pallete for crap!! It was terrible. I substituted it in a 1:1 ratio as it states. It totally changed the texture of my cookies, they tasted burnt but weren't even done, not hardly sweet at all, and left the MOST BITTER taste ever. If you were ranking the most foul sweetener from 1 being worst to 5 the best then 1 is sweetnlow, 2 is SWERVE.

Q: What is the carb count on the Gluten Free Swerve? Is it suitable for a low/no carb diet?

These answers are incorrect. You COUNT the carbs of Erythritol or you it’ll take you out of ketosis or lower it. I counted carbs as normal for the classic keto 2:1 ratio and was at Medium ketones. If I didn’t treat erythritol as carbs there wouldn’t be ketosis. A 14g carb coconut drink 14 carbs, 8 were Erythritol and they are carbs based on ketone level and how much fat I had to add in order to remain in the same 2:1 ratio for ketosis. EVERYWHERE online says different shame on them! Proof is in the pudding.

No, Swerve does not lower the freezing point of ice cream or other frozen goods. Heavy cream or 1 tbsp of vodka usually help keep ice cream soft!
