Does this canon printer do a great job at printing photos on high quality canon photo paper?

I am pricing out ink cartridges and they are not as expensive as the ones for my now not working HP Photosmart 5450 printer. These Canon cartridges are quite resonable, IMO. I will be purchasing this printer as soon as I finish this.
