These are just the perfect little dipping dishes for dipping bread into a mixture of a good olive oil and dipping spice. I love that each dish has a different design depicting the country and what they call olive oil in that language. I did read a few comments that people where having difficulty removing these little dishes from the box they came in. At first I did too but eventually figured it out, you just have to push down on the side of the top dish and it pops the dish right up, continue pressing down on the side for the rest of them same way. Very sturdy box to store the dishes too and keep them clean for the next time.

I was so excited to come across these dishes! My family loves eating bread with olive oil, and we bought some nice dipping dishes years ago. After breaking a few from the old set and wearing down others, I tried to find a new set for my mom's birthday. I came across the Rosanna dishes and couldn't wait to get them in the mail. They are the perfect size- small and rounded just enough to hold a good portion of oil and spices. They clean easily with dish soap and water but are also dishwasher safe. We've put our set through the dishwasher several times now, and each time, they come out looking brand new. They also compliment the table well. Each is painted with leaves and spotlights different countries that produce olive oil by displaying fun facts. Not only are they useful, but they look nice as well. Perfect for both casual dinners and more formal dining occasions! Their only caveat is that they do feel a bit fragile, but at $22, they are a perfect addition to any dinnerware set!

We had bought the pasta bowls a while ago and I saw the matching dipping dishes on Amazon. They are beautiful just like the bowls. Highly recommend them! They’d make a great gift too along with the pasta plates

Great gift for dipping bread. Pattern is cute and plates are well made and the storage box is awesome to keep them in.

I absolutely love the dipping oil bowls. I only disappointed that the pretty boxes they came in were so small I had to tear the box to get them out. So I'm now just keeping them stored in the box lids.

Excellent size, weight and dishwasher safe. Everything I was looking for in a small tasting plate.
