Got this for my dad for Christmas, be warned, its SHARP SHARP! He accidentally cut himself taking it out of the leather sheath. He swears by it so obviously i had to borrow it and try for myself, and now Im thinking i should have just gotten him a tie and kept this knife for myself lol. Things awesome, no disappointments, highly recommend!

Got it for my husband and he loves it. It's a sharp one! This knife is great quality, and absolutely worth the money. I'd buy again if something happened to this one.

It's an excellent blade. First day today, I did a case of onions. Case and a half of tomatoes. And various other veggies and never lost performance. Please watch acidic veggies, and the like. As the blade will tarnish and rust quicker than you think. Haven't done meats yet but I have no doubt it will perform excellently. I prefer a thinner blade for veggies but I'll let you know it doesn't disappoint in that aspect at all. I will say this is def more of a meat cleaver but in the right hands it will do anything you want in the kitchen. Hope this helps. I had such a hard time when looking for the perfect knife for my husband. There's just so many to choose from and I didn't really know what what was good and what was just ehh. ugh!! I am so glad I found this one!!!!! My husband is a cook so he is super picky about knives. He was blown away by this one. It came very sharp and "apparently" it was the perfect angel. ??? I'm not a cook, I have no clue. lol But my hubby is impressed and happy so that tells me that this knife rocks!! Oh! It came with a little sanding thing that, I'm told, is to keep it rust free and sharp. It was packaged beautifully and delivered quickly. I've been informed that Excalibur (that's what he named it) is HIS and it is the one thing that he would rather not share with me. No prob! I don't cook anyway. lol But I was allowed to cut an onion and some potatoes and carrots, just to test it out. He cringed the whole time and never took his eyes off his new toy. The reason I mentioned this is because #1, its hysterical and now I am able to tell you that this knife is beefy! It is heavy duty but not uncomfortable for my small hands. Now I understand what "perfectly balanced" means. So.... I may not be a great chef but I do know quality when I see it. Great knife and I/we HIGHLY recommend! Don't forget to dry it thoroughly after EVERY washing and pop some food safe mineral oil on it till next time. (Walmart $2.99)

Got this for my brother who loves to cook. He says it's amazing! It came in a stylish box and the leather cover was icing on top. The packaging shows well for a gift.
