I bought these so that I can trim my ends. These are extremely high quality and SHARP! I can see these lasting a long time! Just make sure you clean them and oil them afterwards!

I dry cut hair. I have willow leaf scissors by Purple Dragon for the big cuts and sawing through ponytails. I also have a 5 1/2 edge scissor for details. These scissors fill an important gap. They are strong enough to cut through more hair with ease than regular scissors and they are more accurate than a willow leaf. They will cut through more hair than my small edge scissors, but with the same kind of accuracy. They are perfect for dry cutting and doing more detailed work. If you want to cut a curve, its easy with these scissors. If you want to cut straight, they will do that as well. If you dry cut hair and need stronger scissors, get these! I pull large sections of hair around and cut a lot of hair at once and these can do most sections. Willow leaf shaped scissors have their uses, but these are more versatile due to their accuracy even on smaller amounts of hair. I will use these a lot. They are exactly what I was looking for in a scissor.I cut my family's hair now. It may seem like a lot of money for a scissor, but it isn't. Starting out doing the family's hair, I had to invest in tools, professional tools. I bought a 3000/8000 whetston to keep scissors sharp and 2000/5000 for my kitchen knives. This pair of scissors will probably get used the most of any scissor you pick up. They are very versatile. With sharp scissors and dry cuts, my hair never gets split ends, I never have damage to trim. I may not go to a salon, but I still spend money on looking good. But I never have to sit in a salon chair and hope and pray the stylist thinks I deserve to look good and does her best ever again. I only have to learn the cuts and colors my family wants. But I do want nice tools and these scissors are worth the price.

I bought my first pair of scissors at Sally's shop & they were mid. My teachers at my barber school hated using them they preferred to use their own which cost & 400 & up! I bought these on Amazon hoping they were a step better. Now I love them! When my teachers come help me they always say how sharp they are & use them no problem. I'm glad I found them here on Amazon and didn't have to spend $400 for professional ones. These do all the same work at a fraction of the price

Got these so I can cut through bulk hair and very thick hair only use them for those I like these scissors, but they fit very loosely in my hand, but they don’t dull as fast as my other shears when I’m doing bulk haircuts

As a professional barber for 26+ years these shears are a great bang for your buck, I just wish they had a 7” or 6.5 set but overall it’s staying on my station

I love these They help you so much and that they’re not that expensive before I need to sharpen them. It works really good after a year. I do need to sharpen them a little.

These are better than basic hair cutting scissors at Walmart but the sharpest part of the scissors is only on the most inner part of the blade. If you try to just use the tips or say 1 inch from there, there aren't that sharp. Okay for what I'm using them for... just cutting off split ends.

Bought these to trim off my own split ends and to save a trip to the salon. These work great and are good quality.
