I use these to keep moisture out of the items stored in the enclosed bed of my pick-up truck, in FL. I toss one in each of the plastic bins I have back there and check them every two weeks. These things definately soak up moisture but they do it very slowly. I set one out in the house in SE VA in the late summer when we still have high humidity...it took a couple weeks to begin to change color. Microwaving it per the instructions changes the color back to the blue (gets out the water). Definately check on it once a month in an enclosure until you're comfy that everything is dry. Inside of a gymn bag, athletic equipment storage, stuff that, this is not a quick drying device. I've placed mine in occasionally accessed storage boxes like ammo and off-season clothing.

This is really quite the excellent product to keep stuff dry. I have used in several safes for metal and guns protection from humidity. Found its capacity is superb and it is easy to drive off the moisture via microwave and reuse. Have now expanded use to papers as well and purchased my second pack.A great product. And great quality.

The color change has been gradual but are working super well. The care instruction for cleaning them is easy to follow. Have not had any leaking, our humidity in our house can be horrid these have done well in our huge safe, we use 4 in one safe.

I purchased these Dry Totes to try to use them in my Creality CFS (PLA Filament) dispensers. Let me tell you something, these things are OUTSTANDING! I watched the humidity inside my PLA dispensers go from 45% to less than 20% in a matter of a few minutes. Being reusable makes these Dry Totes an excellent option. Quality is A1, couldn't be happier with this product and I don't say that very often about my purchases.

They work well and recharge well. I liked these for the fact that it looks good and a reminder not to throw out it the other generic desiccants. I used this for 3d printing, specially my drawer for my filaments.
