Q: Would this replace, add to, or detract from the bausch &lomb preservision with areds 2 lutein for macular degeneration?

I am a retired physician. My entire family has macular degeneration. Besides that a portion of my retina was separating and as soon as I was in a dark room I would see flashes of light. After taking Lutein 30 mg with zeaxanthin for a few months the flashes cleared up and no progression of MD . So I would add this to the Bausch formula.
