We didn't want to mount anything on our bathroom walls. I got this freestanding towel rack to go with a SONGMICS shelving unit and over-toilet unit (very dark brown with simple, open, unembellished design, all straight lines and solid bamboo). The curves of this unit make it a nice contrast, and the bronze color matches nicely. The unit is easy to assemble, well-fitted, and sturdy. I love the rose-bronze metal end pieces on the towel bars. The shelf underneath is another nice feature. We love this unit.Figure on placing the towel rack at least 1.5 inches from the wall in order to be able to use the highest rung. The rack is solid enough to do that without any problem.Our old, small bathroom now has a whole new look and feel. Love it!

We looked at a lot of freestanding towel racks and wanted to try one out to see how it would work in our bathrooms. We didn't want to spend too much, but wanted to spend enough to get something of decent quality. This product was a great purchase -- the price was right, it looks good, and does its job. I really liked the assembly, as there are no small wrenches or any other 'throwaway' tools. The knobs at the end of the bars are used to screw in the bars to the frame, so everything is self contained and you can get the rack assembled in under 10 minutes.The rack is a tiny bit wobbly, but not enough that it's bothersome. If you hang regular sized bath towels, they do pretty much hit just an inch or two above the "storage shelf" so we don't use the shelf for anything.Overall, a great purchase! We plan to purchase another one for our second bathroom.

It does it's job and looks nice, but not as sturdy as I would have expected for the price. Its not wobbly or anything, but for a few thin pieces of iron that you put together, I feel like I paid too much for it. It does look good and is easy to put together. No tools were required, you put the poles in and screw the knobs on to secure and the shelf on the bottom just hooks in.

It took hours of searching online to finally find this product. The color is nice, and installation was not difficult. If you want a brown oil rubbed finish, there are other brands out there with a purple sheen that most people will not like. The color of the rods and the knobs were just right. I wish it was a little taller, and a little wider so I could fit more towels, but I am happy with it as it is.

This towel stand is in black with knobs in a warm dark bronze and looks quite elegant in our bedroom The knobs blend with all the wood of the bed and dressers. I had wanted a nice towel stand when my son and his wife visit. The basic chrome stands would look OK in a bathroom, but not the bedroom. Once you figure out that the screws are inside the knobs when you do the parts check, it is easily assembled and seems sturdy. Plus, it's tall enough to accommodate large bath towels. Better than I expected and very pleased.

Arrived on time, box was intact, easy assembly, fits my decor, nice and sturdy and looks great. Holds two large bath towels folded in half on the back two rungs. The front one would be best for hand towels or wash cloths. I like the lower shelf, but I don't really use it. Another perk; my scale slides right under the shelf for easy access.

This towel rack was one of very few on Amazon that was actually wide enough to fit a normal unfolded bath towel. That being said, I expected the materials to be better quality given the price. The end caps appear to be made of a durable plastic rather than the metal I was expecting. Despite this, they look nice with the dark metal rack.It only took me 6 minutes to assemble this rack, and no tools were required, which is great; however, it doesn’t sit evenly on all four feet, and the bottom storage rack doesn’t fit tightly into place. I don’t think the bottom rack will cause any problems, but the uneven feet will require some padding to keep the rack from wobbling.At this price point, I just expected something a bit heavier and nicer, though this will certainly meet our needs and seemed to be the best option for large towel racks on Amazon. I was hoping for a rack that would be heavy enough to stay upright when a towel was pulled off from the shower, and this just barely does the trick. It doesn’t fall over, but it slides across our tile floor, so I’m using a rug underneath to stabilize it (not the look I was going for).One last note on this. With normal bath towels hanging on the rack, there isn’t much space leftover at the bottom to really utilize the bottom rack for storage. It barely fits a roll of toilet paper.

Easy to assemble, compact towel rack. Fits nicely in a small space. We use it to dry swimsuits and pool towels.
