Is this made in the U.S.

I received two, one was made in Vietnam, the other was made in China. The Vietnam one was larger and fit me better than the Chinese version which was smaller

Can the hat be washed

I haven’t had it long enough to wash, but I hand wash other hats I have with this kind of material and hang them to dry.

What is the back like? Is it Velcro? Is there room for a ponytail?

This cap has an adjustable velcro strap in the back, and there is room for a ponytail, although not exclusively made for one.
