Got the light pink one, and it's super cute and comfy! Also super easy to put together and use.Just be aware that, to make sure it's working properly and minimizes damage to your pen:- You have to twist it closed after you insert your pen!- Make sure you're inserting it properly, with the flat bit of the pen aligning with the pen clip!- You need a 2ND GEN APPLE PEN, this case was made to only work with it. Off-brand apple pens and other types of styluses will not work with it!- Try not to insert the pen all the way in when you do, and make sure to test the pen/case with a few clicks regardless if how you insert the pen!- Be aware that even inside the case, your pen will still be subjected to some wear and tear. The case may also scratch it a bit or pigment pre-existing damage, but it's all cosmetic from what I can tell (and because I made a few errors using it the first time!).Another note, you WILL have to remove the pen in order to charge it.Overall, really nice case!

I like how east it is to assemble and disassemble while it looks nice. Other covers I have used so far annoyed me because it is so hard to put it together because it was made out of silicone.Because it has a retractable capability it helps protecting the nib because I’ve been using a different nib for the Apple Pencil.I think I’ll get another one because it is so easy to use and looks nice.

The media could not be loaded. I've tried a few different cases for my Apple Pencil and this one is by far my favorite! It's sturdy and protective and perfect for the way that I write. My pencil rests on my ring finger which tends to have joint pain due to a past injury, so I prefer thicker writing utencils since they give me good control without needing a really tight grip.I also LOVE the click feature since I'm always a little nervous about leaving a relatively thin piece of EXPENSIVE equipment exposed in my bag where it can get crushed and knocked around.It's also very easy to insert and remove the pencil, unlike lots of soft silicone grips I've tried that require gripping and twisting until you feel like you're gonna break the pencil!One other thing I will mention is that I don't use tap gestures on my pencil (too easy for me to accidentally trigger it when I'm drawing or writing), so I can't speak for the functionality there.The ONLY complaint I have is that the click cap at the top has gotten loose over the years, so I have to tighten it just right so it actually pushes and pulls the pencil like it's supposed to (see video).It's such a great case that I honestly don't mind investing in another one eventually if it stops working altogether, but I would love to see this product improve this particular feature in future iterations!Tbh if the clicker was improved and they were able to somehow incorporate maybe a softer grip on the outside towards the nib end for a softer grip that wouldn't sacrifice ease of removal/insertion, this case would be taking the cake as a go to case for apple pencil!

From an artist suffering with pain:I love this thing. I lost my last one and was beyond annoyed and upset about it. I hate using my apple pen without it. I hate the tap feature of the second gen ones. I’m old, my hands hurt and I have such a hard time positioning my fingers where I’m not accidentally flip flopping between brush and eraser. I also just forget where I put my fingers to avoid it when I’m in the work flow. This solves this for me.I have been tattooing almost two decades. I get extreme fatigue and cramping from pens and pencils now because, I guess, I just grip too hard but I can no longer really tell I’m doing it until I’m in pain. This also leads to tendinitis in my wrist, which I am forever fighting off at this point between drawing and tattooing.This makes the pen larger and then I wrap it with sensi wrap to make it even thicker and it covers the opening for the tap feature. Win win! Solves my cramping a pretty good degree and definitely helps with my hand fatigue. I basically refuse to use my apple pen without it. I got my boyfriend one as well, who wrapped it like I did, and also loves it for these same reasons.Some people complain about their pens getting stuck, and I’ve carelessly done the same, but there is a flat spot at the clip that you line up with the flat part of the pen when you insert it. It’s literally THAT EASY. I feel like most complaints I’ve read in these reviews are user error.This thing is cute, super helpful (WAY more than all those tiny grips that barely make a difference for someone that has issues like I do) I like the weight of it. And I feel like it protects my pen in my bags. I highly recommend.

Zero stars, if I could. Do NOT buy this product for Apple Pencil 2nd Gen as it will not be compatible. Sure, it'll fit into the thing, but it doesn't work very well. Actually, do NOT buy this product. This is an absolute piece of junk, not worth the shipping cost. I will be attempting to return, but the quality of this product suggests to me that that may not go as expected, or rather it will go as expected, just not a good outcome. Literally the worst product I've received ever on Amazon, not even kidding.

Makes the pen feel more comfy in your hand. All I have to say is BEWARE OF THE CAP WHEN YOU REMOVE IT TO INSERT/REMOVE YOUR APPLE PENCIL! This thing is so violent half the time and will fly across your house if you don’t keep your fingers or hands above it to prevent it from flying away. It also will not charge your pencil in the case, so you will indeed have to remove it every time you need to charge your pencil. Which is not a big deal for me, but you know, could be for others. Giving it 4 stars because of the violent cap. LOLEDIT: I am dumb and didn't read the manual thoroughly enough... you gotta twist the cap to prevent it from popping off and flying across the room. Changing my rating to 5 stars!
