Not true, this unit is listed as TSR-700 But it the identical unit to the RX-V6A. Renamed for Costco sales. And yes it has 100watts per channel 2 channels driven and it produces Dolby Atmos just fine, Probably better than most.

Q: can you screw off the feet to make it a little shorter?

yes you can. and I recommend putting the screws back in the holes they came out of after you remove the feet so you Don't lose them

Q: Can i use it for Bose 901 VI with equa?

Yes you can use your 901's they were terrible with our without the equalizer
