Belkin MagSafe-Compatible Magnetic Wireless Car Charger 10W - BoostCharge Pro Wireless Charger, Magnetic Car Vent Phone Mount for iPhone 16, iPhone 15, 14, & 13 Series - Black

Received my charger yesterday and installed it in a Toyota Highlander with the Belkin duel USB-C car charger. Phone charger was connected to the car charger using a previously purchased USB-C to USB-C cabel and not the cable that comes with the phone charger.Phone is an iPhone 13 Pro with the Product Red silicone magsafe case.Magnet has no issue clearing the iPhone 13 Pro camera bump with the Product Red silicone case, and its hold seems to be strong with no noticeable slipping while driving thus far. I have noticed some slight bouncing, but it is very intermittent and seems to be more from movement of the vent than an issue with the product itself. I have not had any issues with "finding" the magnet and the phone snaps into place easily.As for the charging itself, I have not had any issues. Charging has consistently started when my phone is attached via magsafe. I have not had to unplug and then replug the cable, nor have I had to use a different cable or car charger.So far the product has worked exactly as advertised for me. There have been no issues of note, but there have also been no features or functions which exceeded my expectations. It just works and works well.====== October 20, 2021 Update =======Wanted to add that after reading some additional reviews I went back and verified that my phone does start to charge if placed on the charger prior to turning the car on (though it does take a few seconds to start charging). Previous to this attempt I had only placed the phone on the charger after the car had been started so I wanted to verify if the charging issues some are reporting could be an order of operations issue.

I love how this mounts to my vents so I don't have to deal with suction cups continuously coming un-suctioned. The part that connects to the vents is made of a rubber that is very high friction so it's mount quality is extremely sturdy. The magnet part is very strong, providing great overall performance. My phone doesn't have 15 watt wireless charging, but the charging feature activates immediately upon mounting my phone Even though I have a Samsung that isn't made for magsafe tech, it's a case tech, not a phone tech, so it's not actually exclusive to iPhone. If I could say anything about a negative, it would be that I wish it were on some kind of arm to give a vertical movement to the connection point so the phone could sit a little higher. Other mounts do have this feature, Belkin should as well for being a premium brand.

Install was super easy. Product does exactly what it says it does. Charging is slow, slower than I had thought it would be. Had phone on charger while using Waze & listening to a book on Audible. Ended my drive (about 45 minutes) with my battery exactly where it was when I left the house. No charge lost, but no charge gained.

UPDATEI still love the amazing Belkin MagSafe car charger. My update is for a MagSafe case, one manufacturer, MagBak for iPhone 12, 13 and soon, 14. It is the strongest MagSafe case you can buy. Not on Amazon, go for it. A 12 with this case stuck in a lifted wrangler LJ, off road, amazing. Good luck.The research was hard and challenging to get the best wireless magnetic charger for both iphone XS max and iphone 13 pro. My requirements was 10+ watts of charging and strong magnetism, no phone drops over bumps. I own an Apple iPhone XS Max and Iphone 13s. I was looking for 10+ watts of charging, to be able to run WAZE and streaming, while driving. Also, driving a Jeep Wrangler SUV, the magnetism has to be strong for a phone not to drop. The Apple Magsafe puck charger is not stong. For the XS Max, I used a clear case and the stick on Sinjimoru M-Plate. For the Iphone 13 Pro's, I used a good Magsafe case. The result Magnetism: Perfect and strong over large bumps, no phone drop. Charging: Using a USBC watt meter, both phones showed between 10-11 watts, amazing. The phones in their magsafe cases, also still work on the at home wireless chargers. One note, I wanted to use the Belkin in a RAM mount setup, using the dual 17mm to 1" double RAM mount adapter, perfect. I have the Ram mounts with 1" sockets and the adapter pops right into the Belkin. No need to use the vent mounts in my Jeep. The Belkin did such a great job, thinking of using in both my childrens cars that dont have the ability to use RAM mounts. Experience feedback, the magnetic cases for the XS Max are not strong enough. Use the Sinjimoru M-Plate and a thin case. The "best" Magsafe chargers, other than the Belkin, are not strong enough and dont provide 10+ watts of charging. The highly rated, ESR Halo, was strong, but I only measured 5 watts of charging. Summary: Use the Belkin Magsafe compatible charger, best magnetism and charging, use Sinjimoru M-Plate and thin case for XS Max, iphone 11/11Pro, and use a good quality Magsafe case for the Iphone 12/13. I tried several before finding this one and it works great. I wish it were also charging, but I’m grateful to find a vent mount that is very secure.
