This item is appropriate for the elderly! It is a nice size, not overwhelming, easy to be seen from a distance!

Very useful if the person who needs it can still tell time (digitally or otherwise), knows the meaning if a.m. and pm, cares what day or date it is, and looks at the device. Otherwise its a colorful object in room which impresses visitors and is a bright clock for family caregivers! Setting alarms to take meds or drink fluids seems a good idea but can be complex to revise, and there are better options available. So we have these in bedroom and living room, and they act primarily as colorful cheerful decor.

We love the new clock! Now my mom (dementia) can understand what day it is and the time. It is smaller in size than expected, but the information is large enough to see at a distance. It is readable, colors are bright as described. Comes with instructions and a remote.

Product might be good but I don't know because I can't use it. Why would they send a product that doesn't match the very nice instructions booklet. Large and well written but not useful if it doesn't match the product. Every step says first PRESS THE MENU BUTTON. I can't do that because there is no "menu button" on the remote that came with this clock like pictured in the directions booklet. I can't get to any of the setting because the directions for everything says first PRESS MENU BUTTON. There are no other directions for any other kind of remote like the one sent. And of course as usual anymore there are no phone numbers to call in the booklet or online at Amazon or the Vefaii page. If someone could reply ASAP I will adjust my review accordingly. But for now I can't use it. Very disappointing because I needed this for my mom ASAP. I guess I'll have to return. I'd be afraid to purchase again and get the same thing.

Has to be plugged in to work. It's going to work well but I probably would have kept looking for something similar that could work with a battery or a plug.
