Wow, works perfect. Easy to install and save a LOT of money on Ethercon cables.
I use the Ethercon cables for music applications eg Donte. These Ethercon ends work great. You do have to know how to install an RJ45 on ethernet. At first when I tried to pass the thick Cat 6 through the end piece, I thought "this is too small and the won't fit". But I was wrong, it fits perfect. they seem quite strong but are made of plastic. They snap in very secure. I tested my cables and they worked perfect on my Donte equipment. So, good quality, perfect fit, easy to install if you already know how to install an RJ45 connector and have tools for the RJ45 connector (which are NOT included).

Not for large diameter / CAT6e shielded cable
Strain relief parts are sized for regular non-shielded (UTP) cable or shielded cable with same O.D. as UTP. To use larger diameter shielded cable, modification is needed and integrity is questionable. If using high quality CAT6e shielded cable with internal pair seperator and poly sleeving, you should buy different connectors
