I had been using the original spout that came with my Kleen Kanteen for about 10 years. The original spout would close while drinking. There was no longer an interference fit. This made it necessary to use two hands while drinking. One hand was used to hold the Kanteen and the other hand was used to keep the end of the spout open. The replacement spout did not have this problem. The new spout also seemed to flow better than the old one regardless of the issue previously described. Before I purchased this new spout, I tried a one-hand design that used a button to open the spout. That mechanism failed in less than 30 days of use. I didn't realize they sold replacement spouts for my old Kanteen until I looked for it. This replacement spout cost nearly half of what I originally paid for the entire Kanteen. But, that is the fiat currency we have.

I love this product, it solve all my water bottles complaints and headaches. For daily/work use, with this cap I can drink water without having to take my eyes off the screen or canvas. Normally I would have to be careful to drink slowly so the ice doesn't slide down and wash my face and shirt with water. Also if you actually knock over your bottle only a small amount of liquid will spill out.In the gym, it's a game changer. The cap allows you to open and drink without removing muay thai/boxing gloves. Plus less handling if the cap,keeps the germs to a minimum.My Only complaints, which were resolved, are; Initially i was concerned about the flow, but I quickly discovered a small amount of suction is all you. Second, I noticed a bit of mold starting to show up on the clear vavle. After viewing the helpful video on their site, I was able to disassemble the cap and completely clean it out easily.Overall, I highly recommend it it.

We have younger children who have as yet not outgrown their must-gnaw-on-all-soft-things eras. They continue to chew off the closeable rubber spout on these water bottle lids over time. It's not a matter of quality; we just seem to have a herd of rodent children where these are concerned. We're glad that the lid is available separately. Just wish it was a little less expensive! We're about $50 in just in lids for these water bottles, haha.

This is a replacement cap for a bottle whose cap was sub par, and it works really well. It's quiet while drinking, it doesn't leak at all (make sure the spout is firmly pressed down). I was wary of the silicone tip, but so far it's holding up well, and it's very easy on my teeth. My only complaint is that there's a ridge on the finger handle that makes it a little uncomfortable to carry. It would be so much nicer if the manufacturer had smoothed that out, it's a detail that would speak very well of the manufacturer.

So nice to be able to buy these on their own. Kids love chewing on them so they have to be replaced more than the bottle part.

Great product that works well all the time.

I bought a couple of these for Klean Kanteens that I had for a while. Better when driving -- you don't need an extra hand. Turns out they also fit Yopay water bottles. What is interesting is that the four I bought most recently came with a cap that fits over the nipple. Two advantages: keeps the tip clean. May make it a little less likely to drip. Can be removed if you don't like it. It is a little harder to drink from the bottle with the cap but I got used to it pretty quickly.

This new cap works perfectly. It’s easy to use, very lightweight and looks great. It’s a super good value for the money. It’s very versatile as he can use it on several of his bottles and it does not leak like the old cap did. It’s great. We’d buy it again.
