The baking soda is based on refining of trona, a naturally occurring mineral. It is 99% pure sodium bicarbonate, with trace naturally occurring mineral content. The process does not induce aluminum and is considered aluminum free.

Q: Can I use this for Acid reflux?

Yes. Take a very small amount mixed with water. 1/8 to 1/2 teaspoon in 8 Oz of water. Mix well. Gulp it down. Get relief. Don't overdo it because it's very high in sodium.

Q: Is this nahcolite baking soda or chemically made baking soda?

That meant synthetic... Baking soda can be found as a naturally occurring compound, but is more frequently manufactured from other naturally derived materials, like trona ore.
