Lavender Wax, 5 oz. by Town Talk

I have a moderate amount of antique furniture that requires a polish with a good oil content in it. I love Town Talk as the lavender scent is wonderful but not overwhelming, and the polish seems to have just the right ratio of oil in the product to make my old furniture look nice and shiny while providing a protective finish to keep the old wood from drying out. I also appreciate that the oil doesn't seem to become rancid as long as I keep the lid on tightly. I had a small amount left, in reserve, that was well over ten years old. When I recently went to use it there was no problems with it smelling rancid as I've found to be the case with other polishes with a high oil content. I reserve this great polish for my antiques that really need to be oiled and protected from drying out. I don't use it on my newer furniture some of which has it's own protective top finish. For a while Town Talk didn't seem to be available, I'm happy to see it back and available on Amazon. It is a bit pricey but a little goes a long way, and it's worth it to protect an valued antique. Also, there's nothing like coming home, seeing your clean, polished, shiny furniture and smelling the wonderful lavender scent in the air.

The smell of lavender chemicals is overwhelming. I'd return it if I could. Not worth the money.

I love the way this works, and at first the fragrance. Then the next day when I came in my home, it smelled like a skunk! Two days later and the same.Had company, and they right away said, it smells like a skunk in here!I changed lavender paste wax, and now will have to buy another of my former one.I have been using paste wax on my antiques since living in England in the early 70’s

Good product

Use this furniture wax ONCE and you will be a fan for life. Not only is it so healthy for my mother's old, old desk which sits under the window and, yes, I know....... not a good place for a wooden antique, but a monthly buff up, after a first thorough application of this wax the first time, and they desk looks so much happier!As far as the fragrance!!!!!! OMG! Your entire home will smell like lavender! And such a sweet, natural scent it is too.. I find that lots of lavender home products smell like floor wax.......not this gorgeous scent. I don't know anywhere else to buy it other than the wonderful Amazon!

Just did not do the job I expected very dispointed

I bought these for myself and friends. The lavender fragrance is wonderful; makes polishing my antique furniture a very pleasant task. I have one old (maybe over a hundred years old) wood chair that soaked up half a container; that's not the fault of the wax: that chair was dried up and neglected. Will extend the life of the chair forever if I keep using it once in a while. I love this wax.

The wax is too hard to deal with. A polish would have been better.
