Useful
Great trimmer for small shrubs and climbing plants. Makes quick work of tidying up the garden. The blades are easy to switch and the battery is quick to charge and lasts a long time between charging. It is quite heavy for one handed use, especially ,if you’re holding it above your head, but manageable. It’s much better than I expected.

Nice bit of kit
Bought this to trim a small laurel hedge, about 10 metres long. It does the job, top and both sides, with no effort even cutting through some of the thicker branches. Still plenty of charge left at the end. The grass edging trimmer is a real bonus and works a treat. Cuts the edges around the garden beds in minutes. No trailing cables to worry about and charges in no time ready for the next use.

Excellent Bosch 2 in 1 Grass/Hedge Trimmer
So I received my order today and have been really impressed with this device!I had whittled my choice down to three Bosch models on Amazon. The EU one, the newer UK one and this one.Yes this one costs more (on sale atm!) but what I like is it has a separate battery, so I can always get a replacement if this one dies. Where the other two cheaper models have an integrated battery...I used this in the garden today and was very impressed with it! It's never going to be a heavy duty item but for shrubs and hedges it worked a treat and the grass trimmer worked wonderfully surprisingly lightweight too. If like me you are useless with a strimmer and I really am, this is the answer! Not too noisy either. I fully charged the battery up in under an hour and having been out most of the afternoon with it, it had gone from three lights (fully charged) to two and still plenty of charge and no cable in the way! I like the fact the handle is on the top where as with the cheaper models you have to hold it at the end. In my honest opinion, if you're trying to make your mind up, go for this model if your budget allows! A really useful peace of kit. 100% recommend. 👍NB: Btw buy the one with the battery and charger if you haven't already got any Bosch Power tools, it's only £10 odd more and totally worth it! Otherwise, you're looking at paying another £34 approx on top for a separate battery and charger.

Versatile and easy to use. Very useful tool.
Great little tool. Versatile and easy to handle. Trims my honey suckle with ease as long as I don’t cut into the hard wood. Cuts and shapes softer growth nicely.

Light, effective and well powered tol, works brillianly. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
This is an excellent little garden tool, light, well balanced and with plenty of power from the interchangeable 18 volt battery (which also powers my Bosch drill.)It's perfect for trimming garden shrubs, bushes etc. So much lighter easier than using a hedge cutter, and easier to get the shape right.Obviously you're not going to use something of this size for lopping tree branches, but what it does it does very well indeed. The on-off trigger is a bit fussy, and takes a little getting used to. When you release it you only have less than two seconds to start it again before the safety cutout applies. You then have to press both the red lock-of button and the trigger to restart it. It soon becomes natural, but can be irritating.Safety: BE VERY CAREFUL TO KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. It looks and attracts like a toy, but it isn't one. The small red lock-off button is placed directly above the trigger and even tiny hands would have no difficulty in pressing both together. With children around and the battery inserted, don't leave it unattended even for a moment. (I still remember a school accident where a child's finger was cut off playing with an unattended paper cutting guillotine. Believe me, accidents like this happen.)

Good but not sturdy enough
It got rusted very quickly

Very useful
...because it's light, easy to use, and does a great job quickly. Build quality is good and the grass trimmer dealt with tough grass edges with no problem. Looking forward to using the short hedge trimmer too.

Great if only they stayed sharp
Great piece of kit but the sheers blunt so quickly. I’ve just got into gardening in the last few years and love my lawn. After a good mow, what really takes things to the next level is to trim the edges for a polished look. I’ve tried strimmers which are costly or difficult or expensive to refill. So this was everything I wanted. I cut my lawn and trimmed with this about every two weeks on average and it was blunt within the calendar year. I’ve seen guidance online to take it apart but it looks complicated and I don’t want to pay £20 for new blades. I’m slightly disappointed tbh. Great while it’s sharp, but after that; it’s too costly to keep. I’m now gonna go old school and get some hand sheers for the edge of my lawn. LOL a friend once commented how his brother was “cutting the lawn with blooming’ scissors!” I think they were probably decent lawn sheers tbh. We all learn and move on. Happy gardening!
