This adapter made an older dvd player work on a new smart tv without breaking the bank
I’m amazed this actually works a treat. It’s been connected to the tv in my sewing room so didn’t want to spend much money on it. The quality of the picture is surprisingly good for what it is. I even hooked up a spare amp to improve the sound quality from the tinny speaker on the tv. Now I can watch a movie on the dvd player or put a music cd in it and enjoy. I’m so happy as I can now sew away and be entertained at the same time thanks to this amazing little adapter. I recommend this adapter to anyone that has a dvd player that only has a scart connection and a smart tv that only has an hdmi, this will do the trick without spending too much on it.

Why did you choose this product over others?:I didn't as I read the reviews and bought it and it was easy to set up and works fine now I can use my old VHS player through our smart TV. Well pleased with its quality and price many thanks

Decent interchange cable
Easy to connect from my old dvd player to a new Sony tv in order to play old dvds. Do need to connect to the plug for power.

Great for linking a VCR to a new 4K set
Works perfectly when linking an old VCR to a new 4k TV. I tried an alternative cable which didn't have a 720/1080 switch and couldn't get it to work but this worked out of the box with no issues. No picture quality too.

Works perfectly
My old Samsung was an early version of the smart tv so it had a scart which worked with my Sky HD box. However, fast forward several years and sadly my Samsung had to be replaced with a new smart tv and the modern day versions no longer have a scart input. This was an issue for me as I still have my HD box, and because I am not ready to lose some of my recordings I needed a scart to HDMI converter. I brought this converter based on the generally good reviews. The converter arrived promptly and works perfectly and I am very happy with it.

It's not getting a signal and its connected to a smart tv with sky but no picture from vhs player but a little sound
