Beautiful - Great value for the price
This instrument is beautiful, maintains intonation, easy to tune, and comes with a canvas gig bag that is heavy duty and protects the ukulele - the bag has zippered pockets for the tuner, capo, strings, and picks. The strap is attractive but bulky.

Good for the price.
The sound quality is good but just sounds a little different than my other ukes.

my son likes it very much
The media could not be loaded. When I first saw this rainbow ukulele, I was surprised. My friend told me the price of 79.99 US dollars, I think I should also have such a rainbow ukulele, relatively the same price of ukulele, which is really worth it.I found that no seller has such a fine ukulele.Balnna's soprano ukulele is not only beautiful, but more importantly, after a period of use, my experience is very good.I’m enjoying this beautiful HOT fall day playing my Rainbow Ukulele under our Spirit Tree. Since I purchased it, I practice it every day. It's so great to put down the electronics and practice. I pick it up without even thinking about it, and before you know it, some hours has passed.

Sounds Okay; Intonation Is Off :/
This is my very first ukulele! I play the guitar (I have a solid body and an acoustic, and I used to have a classical as well), so I was able to pick it up fairly quickly.I find the intonation on the C string (2nd string) to be about 20 cents off. The rest of the 3 strings are fine though. The cause could be as simple as a bad string, in which case, a simple replacement of the strings would fix the problem. In fact, I RECOMMEND you get yourself a decent set of strings and replace the ones from the factory. If the intonation problem is not due to a bad string, a reshaping of the saddle might be called for — something I neither have the time nor inclination for at this time. Overall, despite the intonation problem, the ukulele still sounds decent enough to where I'm motivated to keep playing on it.If you're a beginner to the ukulele like myself, you probably want to start from basics like tuning (GCEA standard tuning) and chords. Here are a couple of quick suggestions to get you started:(1) TuningDownload the app called Ukulele Tuner (ad supported, but NO disruptive interruptions). This app automatically detects the string you're tuning after you've gotten your strings tuned for the first time.(2) Holding The UkuleleAppend /watch?v=NA0SvOREelg to the YouTube URL to view a video on how to hold the ukulele(3) Learn ChordsAppend /watch?v=zsVvdEE6EOA to the YouTube URL to learn a few useful chords (and arpeggio finger picking).(Note: Amazon doesn't allow Web address, hence the direct Web addresses are not provided above.)-Next, let's talk construction: not bad. The neck is straight, no problems with bowing. The body is well-constructed, no lamination problems or the like. In fact, the construction of the body looks and feels robust. The laser-etched solid spruce top looks quite lovely. The only quibble is the tuning pegs: these are plastic, not metal. However, they function just fine.Once the string have passed their break-in period, the strings do keep their tuning quite well. Note that since the strings are nylon, they do need to be tuned quite frequently; that's just a given. The tone is bright and resonant — and quite pleasing to the ear.A word on the product title. It currently reads "Balnna Ukulele Soprano Beginner Spruce 21 Inch Vintage Hawaiian Ukelele with Uke Starter." I'm not sure what a "Uke Starter" is. The package comes with a ukulele and a case. That's it. There is no "Uke Starter," whatever that is. Caveat emptor.---The performance of this ukulele is decent but not stellar. This is to be expected given its relatively low retail price. If you're strapped for cash, this is in my opinion a very acceptable instrument overall.

A hit with the 7 year old
I think this slightly larger size is great. Our 7 year old daughter plays it without any issue with size. Quite well made and sounds good for the price I thought.
