Q: Can this hair brush be used on tangled dry hair not conditioned wet hair?

My 10 y/o daughter has extreme curls and she does not like to take care of her hair at all. So, we're talking very tangled and severe rats nests. I've bought her all sorts of brushes over the years and just recently bought this brush. We've used it on dry and unconditioned hair and it went through it so far, the best, out of every other brush. I'm not a professional hairdresser, so I don't know if you technically should do this but as a mom who has struggled with this issue for so long, we tried it and it worked for us. Also, side note, she has tried it on wet and conditioned hair and it went through with absolutely not problems or her screaming from it pulling.

Q: I am looking for a brush that does not have silicone due to an allergy. Does the contain any silicone parts?

Not sure, but it does have a rubber handle.

Q: Can this brush be used on Afro-textured hair, or kinky hair that is natural?
