For the cost and seemingly scamming listing, this knife is an incredible value. I have had it over 3 years now and it is used almost daily. One concern I had about it was the hard steel only goes about a centimeter into the handle. I figured this joint would surely break off as the handle is a cheaper aluminum metal but it has not. I do not dishwash it reguraly but I have and it holds up without rust. The handle feels cheap but the blade is a good quality. Out of the box it was able to cut paper but I have been able to consistently sharpen it over time. The edge holds up well and I have cut through many different things including bone. The light handle makes the heavier blade glide, however it feels about the same weight as higher end cleavers are. Overall, this knife has outperformed some higher end knives that I have owned and is truly a staple of my kitcken. The cleaver style can be used in many different tasks and should be apart of everyone’s kitchen.

Hello there, i have seen some bad review about this cleaver but they use it for the wrong purpose. Yes, most people think cleaver for cutting bone and thick meat. However, this is not a cleaver, its a cleaver style knife. The cleaver is so thin and there is no way it will cut thru bones or thick meat. This cleaver is good for cutting veggies or slicing meat. Read the description, it said STAINLESS STEEL CHINESE CHEF KNIFE. I got mine and i love it because the blade is razor sharp.
