Extremely fine and flavorful, worth every penny.
I love mochi matcha IYKYK and where I live that is hard to come by. I tried a couple of brands at my local store and was disappointed with quality, quantity, and price and so I began to dive down the forums and many recommended this. They were right! Best bang for your buck and texture quality is superb! Extremely fine and flavorful with zero added anything. It comes with a scoop which is great so you have a dedicated measuring tool to be able to replicate the same beverage every time. Easy and straightforward directions and recommendations. Quality is superb and highly recommend 10/10

The Best Matcha I’ve Tried—Perfect for Lattes
Out of all the different matcha powders I’ve tried, this one is by far the best. The flavor is smooth, earthy, and vibrant without that harsh bitterness I’ve experienced with other brands. It blends beautifully, and the bright green color makes every cup feel fresh and inviting. I especially love making matcha lattes with it—the taste comes through perfectly balanced and rich, almost café quality right at home. On top of that, it’s organic and clean, which gives me even more confidence about using it daily. This has easily become my go-to matcha and the one I’ll be sticking with from now on.

This is a better quality matcha than what is used at Starbucks!
This product is better than the matcha powder mix used at Starbucks! Starbucks uses a 51% sugar mix with questionably sourced matcha/sencha making up the other 49%. It has no tea flavor as it's basically just sweetened milk. If you've come to matcha through the Starbucks lens, this is NOT that product. It's what you should be drinking instead! When I've tried to get matcha powder locally at the grocery store, I've not been able to find one that is the same quality as this in such a value size quantity. For size reference, I'm pretty sure this size bag could last one person 3mos even if they were drinking a matcha latte everyday. This matcha here packs a bolder flavor, a better boost of energy, and more mental clarity without the crash that you'd have from coffee. It is unsweetened, which gives you the freedom to make the final product (latte, smoothie, whatever) as sweet or unsweet as you like. The powder is ULTRA fine, and is about the consistency of powdered sugar. It dissolves wonderfully in a few ounces of the liquid of your choice (I prefer oatmilk), and it suspends very nicely and does not sink to the bottom when at rest for a few moments. All around highly recommend. Unless you're Japanese and have had that real good stuff and would know the difference, this is probably good enough for most people.

Wonderful for an Iced Matcha Latte
Love! Love! Love! This Matcha doesn’t have a bitter taste at all. The price is right and the size of the bag is surprising for the price! Just the right amount of caffeine for an afternoon pick me up. A nice iced Matcha latte is so refreshing! No added sugar or sweeteners needed.

Aftertaste of stevia
I bought this as an experiment, and went for the big bag, thinking that I'll use it for baking if I don't like it. I just finished a small pack of ceremonial matcha that cost me a little fortune, so I had some reference. This one is different, for sure, but I cannot say it's not as good. It does not have the same astringency as the ceremonial one, but I like it better (I drink it plain, with ice). It has a somewhat sweet taste, probably because it comes from first harvest tea leaves. In powder form the color is not as vibrant green as the ceremonial one, but after mixing I don't see any difference (it seems to foam a little more than the ceremonial one, using same frother and water/powder quantities).I'll stick with it for sure, you cannot beat that price, but same as with coffee/wine/Bourbon, there's the daily one and the... ceremonial :-) one. This is a good daily one. For the ceremonial one I would probably go for a Hojicha--different game altogether.

Great product!
I've never tried Macha tea. My son was coming in to town for a visit, and asked if i could get some for his visit.I ordered this bag and was surprised at how good it tasted. Measuring scoop included, beautiful green color, blended easily in my mug.I will be ordering this product again!

THE SPICKY APPEARANCE ON SCOOP IS STATIC ELECTRICITY, NOT HEAVY METALS!
This matcha is delicious and a great price! I’ve only tried a few different brands to date, but this one is my favorite so far, and my family can actually afford to drink it daily (unlike most other matcha brands). I even tried it against a much more expensive brand, and that one had a more bitter taste and wouldn’t blend fully (aka clumping). To those people saying there are heavy metals in this matcha because of the spiky appearance of the matcha it sometimes has when you scoop it out…that is NOT heavy metals. That is from static electricity buildup, which gives the Matcha an appearance of “spikes” forming on the plastic scooper. The static electricity is generated during the grinding process and from vibrations during storage. This is especially true for high-quality, finely ground matcha. To mitigate this, sifting the matcha before use is recommended. Here's why and how:Fine powder:Matcha is ground into an extremely fine powder, making it prone to static buildup.Friction:The grinding process itself generates static electricity as the tea leaves are ground between stones.Vibrations:Even during storage and transportation, vibrations can cause static electricity to build up within the container.

Good value but a bit too sweet for me
Good, but a little sweet for my tastes compared to ceremonial-grade alternatives. However, this product was much cheaper/oz than the others. It may be to your taste.
