Sassy Stickers Recycle Symbol Green 5" Vinyl Decal Sticker

I read quite a few reviews that complained about the sticking properties (user error??, no offense). Also, I read others who kindly mentioned that it is intuitive and will indeed stick properly if placed properly. Thank goodness for the brain cells out there!! This is super cheap & effective; perfect combo. I have two stainless steel trash cans in the kitchen and as others mentioned, family knows which is which, guests have a much harder time remembering, especially with a cognac in them. When arrived, I pulled slightly on one corner and determined the non-sticky side (for up) and pulled the backing off the opposite and stuck it on the can. I then much more gingerly pulled the backing off of the top, once or twice using a fingernail on the slender arrow edges. Piece of cake!! unobtrusive (well, considering it is a big, bright green sticker, but just a symbol after all). Worth it, totally. Also, although not "prime" I have to say that it arrived much earlier than stated and I loved that it came in a skinny envelope as the thought of boxes and waste are anathema to the idea of recycling. haha! All is well in the world on occasion.

Great decal, very vibrant green color. We placed our on our garbage can to let the kids (and company) know which can is for recyclables and which is not. It's working great!! The decal is super easy to use. Clean and dry the spot you wish to place the sticker on, peel the backing and place the sticker. Use a credit card or something similar to smooth out any bubbles, then remove the top sheet carefully. It's been two weeks, and the sticker still looks great!

I know the Product description says this but I was pleasantly surprised that this was more of an extremely easy to apply decal than a sticker. Specifically, there is no coloration around the green arrows once applied. I stuck this on the top of my indoor recycling bin and it looks really nice. It lies flat on my slightly rounded lid. People ask me where I got an indoor bin for recycling! My in-laws have been having trouble with guests throwing things away in the wrong bin so I ordered one for them too!

I wouldn't normally have bothered to write a review for a logo, but this was just so much nicer than I expected that I decided to do it. I needed it for a recycle can I have that people were always throwing garbage into. This is a really nice, high-quality decal. I just now realized that they called it a window sticker, but I don't know why. Because, it sticks on whatever hard surface you want to put it on. It's not a big clear piece of plastic with the green recycle logo painted on it. Each of the green parts is a separate sticker. you peel off a backing sheet to reveal the sticky part of the green logo, then you can affix it to a surface and peel off the front piece of backing and the logo is perfectly aligned and sticking to the surface. It's really nice...

This sticker wasn't quite what I expected but it would have helped if I'd read the questions and answers first. I was expecting the recycle symbol on a white sticker. This actually looks much nicer as the green arrows apply directly to the item. It didn't come with any instructions, so I was a little confused at first but it wasn't difficult to figure out. They applied nicely overall, although a few areas need some extra pressing. As long as the backing is peeled off slowly there shouldn't be any problems. Overall the symbol looks very nice and it works perfectly for what I needed. I used these on a cheap plastic indoor trash can to differentiate it from my regular trash can.

This is a WINDOW sticker (as per the name). It will only work on the inside of a transparent surface facing out. You can not stick it on a trash can or cabinet or wall. If you do, all you will see is the opaque back side of the sticker. I didn't notice this minor detail when buying, and none of the prior comments mentioned this, which makes me wonder if the product has changed. I still haven't figured out why anyone would want a recycling sticker for a window.

This is a vinyl cutout sticker that is thick and the color is solid...I used it to stick on a plastic trash can to convert it to a recycling can. It was easy to stick on and has held up well in the weather.I recommend using a credit card or small squigee to lay the sticker on starting from the middle and working your way out...this reduces the chance for bubbles or having the sticker peel back up when you remove the cover. You can even spray a little denatured alcohol on the surface in case you need to adjust the sticker placement.

Perfect on my plastic waste bin for recycling. It’s big and a great bright green color (not neon, more like kelly green). Comes printed on square sticker. There is a right way to put it though, turning it sideways you can tell it’s printed a certain way with a right side up side, because it’ll look lopsided. Since my recycling bin is open, my friends would toss their garbage into it without recognizing my beautiful simplehuman trash can right next to it, so it’s a perfect identifier.
