I don’t think it is. So yes, probably polluting the oceans if it’s used for salt water fishing, but I use it to tie chicken livers on my hook when fishing for cat fish in local NC cat fish ponds. Works pretty good too.

This is super thin and stretchy, but I'm not sure how to measure "strong" - my guess is it takes a good 3 or 4 pounds of pull to break it. It is very small and hard to see if you're not looking for it so it would work well for magic tricks. You get a lifetime supply with this order, lol
