A fun build
This was a fun build and very detailed. I made several modifications to the build. The elevator system was very flawed and would come apart when lifting floors for access. A couple of modifications and it was just fine. If you are using this for display you are good to go as is. If you are using this for a youngster to play with you will need to fix several things (elevator, main doors and garage). Over all I am very pleased with the purchase.

Finished product looks impressive - after a few modifications
Firstly, this product is an excellent kit for a hospital built at a scale that Lego will never release. All pieces required were present and accounted for, and pieces came in numbered bags making assembly easier. Model is built on plates rather than baseplates - so if you want it to match up with other modulars you will need to supplement with your own baseplates. Biggest complaint about this structure is the odd hole that is left in the side of the coffee shop on the first floor - right next to the main entrance (I was able to fix this quite easily - but a model at this price point shouldn't have such obvious mistakes). Secondly, building the floors was a pain (literally - getting the plates together required a lot of pounding with my hands), and the suggested layout of plates is often nonsensical (if you have any build experience you will notice the odd arrangements and will correct them (can be done without supplementing with your own pieces). The interior spaces are excellently detailed (Comes with an operating room, a pharmacy, restrooms, a physician's office, and three hospital beds), with the exception of the very first floor which is oddly barren. The set comes with an ambulance which was unexpected (though I suggest using the dodge ambulance that is sold by this company as it also fits and looks excellent with the set) as well as many different figures (patients, doctors, doctors fully gowned up, nurses, pharmacist, and an EMT worker). Overall I feel this set is worth the price - but this is not a good set for younger kids or those who do not have a lot of build experience - as following the instructions exactly will actually compromise the integrity of the building.

Complex
A great model but complex and hard to keep together. If I did it again I would have used glue in many more places. It looks impressive!
