Q: what are the dimensions/weights of the product as shipped. (how many boxes etc...)?

The width is 20" - 20" Tall - 9" deep. It ships in one box which is 23" x 21" x 9" and has a shipping weight of 13 lbs. Out of the box and ready to hang the weight is approx. 10 lbs.

Q: why cant they be shipped to Alaska ? everthing can be shipped here. It has the 2nd largest cargo hub in the nation

Q: Will this work with medium frames?

The complete kit comes with deep Langstroth frames. But yes, they can be removed and replaced with medium Langstroth frames. The medium frames will also fit. If you have medium frame hives, you might want to order the unassembled kit without frames if you already have the medium frames.
