Can this be used at the base ( under) vinyl siding to keep critters out ( mice chipmunks and squirrels)?

While I used this inside, in the back of a cabinet with a hole for plumbing, it is so malleable that I don't see why it wouldn't work behind siding, if you are able to push or pack it into whatever opening there is behind the siding. The rolls are large and the mesh is very soft yet cannot be chewed through because it is copper mesh. You'll obviously need to be sure it is secure (jammed in tightly) so it cannot be displaced by animals.

The stick helps with pushing copper into tight space. Copper is to corsed for mice teeth, so they can't bite or chew their way through.

Will the wiring become a fire hazard if used on automobile wiring? The wiring on newer cars are made edible materials that rodents love.

I wouldn’t use this on car wiring. I’m a pest control pro and as long as the car doesn’t sit still for long periods of time rodents should not be an issue
