Joe's Stuff Original Blend Seasoning From New Orleans, 4.5 Oz

Took a bit longer to get here but worth the wait. Made my Gumbo exceptional!

Went to New Orleans and took a cooking class from in a cooking school in New Orleans and this was the only seasoning they used when cooking Gumbo, and Etouffee. I was able to recreate these delish dishes. Would recommend adding this spice to your spice rack.

It is not overly salty like a lot of Cajun seasonings and the flavor is pleasantly Cajun...not overwhelming. I would have preferred this to be in a glass jar because glass protects the spices better than plastic. I gave it 4 stars for value for money because it has salt as the first ingredient and salt is a very cheap ingredient plus there are no exotic herbs and spices in it that I can taste. I think you are paying more for their name and advertising cost than for the product but that being said, it is tasty enough that I would buy it again.

I took a hands on cooking lesson at the New Orleans School of Cooking. Joe put together this spice for our jumbalaya, red beans and gumbo. His blend is magic. I use spices in combinations, but this blend is perfect.
