WHERE IS THE TIMER MANUFACTURED?

I no longer have this timer as it was a piece of junk. But as I remember it was made in China.

Does it uses battery? ?

No, it does not use batteries. You turn it all the way to 60 then back to the minutes you want and that winds it.

are the internal works made of metal or plastic? old one my mom had was made of metal and lasted. plastic inner works I bought lasted 3 'times' !!

The large numbers works for me very well. The time is mostly plastic but it makes it light. It works well as well.

do you have to wind it up or go directly to desired time?

You have to wind the timer all the way to 0 (zero) first and then wind back to the desired time. Other than that, the timer is OK and has a longer ring than most I've used throughout the years.
